What
Bowls for matcha, made for solitary moments.
Each piece holds just enough for one serving—a scoop of powder, hot water, the rhythmic whisking motion until foam appears. Our custom blue glaze (developed in-studio, not bought) pools differently in each bowl, catching light like still water.
Some feature a pouring lip for practical use, others follow traditional forms—each found its own balance between ceremony and everyday life.
Why
Not every ritual needs an audience.
These bowls are for the mornings when you wake before everyone else, for the afternoons when you need to reset, for the evenings when you want something slow and deliberate. For the practice of making something carefully, just for yourself.
We made these in 2025—a year of building our studio, of learning what we wanted to make and why. These bowls are part of that answer: things that hold space for small, intentional moments. The blue we mixed, the forms we shaped, the decision to make bowls for one person’s quiet tea ritual—all of it was about choosing what matters.
In a world that often feels too fast, too loud, too much—here is a bowl that asks you to slow down, to whisk with intention, to taste carefully.
To make tea for yourself is not indulgence. It is a kind of homecoming.
